The how-to of proposals

You have met the ONE... stars are in your eyes- and now it is time to take that next step. Proposing marriage is one of the more significant moments in a persons life. 1. Choose the right moment
Timing is everything when it comes to a proposal. Choose a moment that feels special and meaningful to you both. This could be a special anniversary, a romantic getaway (we can help with insurance to cover your purchase on a trip) or a favorite spot that has sentimetal value. Here in Bend we have so many beautiful locations, from the Cascade lakes highway to the Old Mill District, finding a beautiful location is not hard to come by. 

2. Get Creative! 
Proposing doesn't need to be a cookie cutter affair. Think outside the ordinary and be creative, celebrate the things that make your love extra special. Is your beloved a runner? meet them on a run down on one knee or at the end of a race here in town. Have friends or family in town that can meet you for a special scavenger hunt, or surprise party? Find something that completely reflects your personality and relationship. 

3. Plan it out
Planning is always key to a successful proposal. Think about what you want to say, where you want to do it, and make sure you have the preparation to add the special touches that matter to you. Hiring a photographer, or videographer to capture the moment or arrange for a special song to be played ahead of time will make all the difference. 4. Keep it personal!

5. Be sincere and authentic 
Above all be yourself, make sure that you speak from the heart and express your love and commitment genuinely. Your partner will appreciate your honesty and vulnerablity, and it will make the moment even more special.
